It will only take a few minutes to apply to one of our open positions. In order to apply, we have a few prerequisite questions for you to answer along with uploading your resume.

It depends on the position. While having industry-specific knowledge is great, Donegal wants to hire the best fit.

For example: We have entry-level roles where we accept all backgrounds and majors. We also have an IT department where we look for particular technical skillsets and do not necessarily focus on industry specific knowledge.

After you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledgment from us that your information has been received. We do our best to review all resumes for each position in a timely manner. Due to the overwhelming response for our positions, it may take a couple weeks until your resume gets reviewed.

If you have been selected to interview for an open position, a member of our Human Resources team will contact you, get you scheduled, and outline the steps in the interview process.

Yes, if you have not been selected to interview for a position, you will still be notified by email or phone.

Yes, if interested in more than one position, you should apply for each position separately.

Yes, Donegal will keep your information on file for 6 months. However, to express interest in a specific role, you should submit a separate application for each role in which you are interested.

Like our customers, Donegal’s employees know we are “There when it matters most.” We place a strong emphasis on teamwork and investing in our employees. At Donegal, you are not just a number. No matter the job title, employees are approachable and willing to share their knowledge, including our senior management team.

Donegal has a “business casual” dress code policy. However, when meeting with external clients and customers, professional business attire is required.

We do not have a general resume submittal process for agencies who are not on our approved list. Donegal does not pay agency fees where speculative and unsolicited resumes are submitted to us and/or our employees by any means other than through our Applicant Tracking System.

Where this is not observed Donegal reserves the right to contact these candidates directly and initiate discussions without payment of any agency fee.

Donegal offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary ranges are specific to each position and can be discussed during the recruitment process.

It depends on the role. Candidates should not apply to a position with the assumption relocation will be provided. During the interview process candidates will be asked if they are planning to relocate for the position, which would open up the opportunity to inquire about assistance.

Internships

Yes, we offer full-time paid internships during the summer break from mid-May through the end of August. Any student interested in a summer internship with us should click here to apply.

It depends on the department in which your internship would be. Each department has their own projects and tasks interns will complete throughout the summer. All of our interns will gain valuable, career-specific work experience applicable to their desired area of study.

It depends on the business needs of the department in which the intern worked in. Along with the departmental factors, the intern’s performance throughout the summer will be taken into consideration for any potential employment offer.
